“LEARNING – THE TREASURE WITHIN” is the Moto of this department. Each and every teacher is the treasure of the department. Education general course was started from 2012 and Education Honours course was started from 2016, and throughout the 11years. Almost every year, maximum students take 1st class scores in their final examination on 2020 and 2021. At present the intake capacity in honours course of this department is 25, among them the average success rate in each year is more than 95%. Most of the students are placed in their further higher study . The department is enriched by 2 experienced teachers.

Throughout the journey, the department has not only achieved academic performance, but also extra-curricular success in every field. We have very active and enthusiastic students. They always engage themselves in various fields other than their syllabic world. With the help of the students and their parents, the department is actively organizing webinar, special lecture, college excursions, social awareness programme.
