The Department of Microbiology was introduced in this college at the Under Graduate (UG) level in the year 2016.This Department presently runs B. Sc. Microbiology(Under West Bengal State University CBCS System) a full-time under graduate program with 3-year duration. This course primarily focuses on the microorganisms and their applications in the various field. The aim of this course is to provide students a detailed study of microorganisms both in theoretically as well as practically. The department strives to provide impressive academic ambiance to help the students learn the subject and excel as a Professional in future globally.
