The Department of Bengali of Sree Chaitanya Mahavidyalaya introduced the honours course in 2010. In this journey of 12 years the department has established itself as a dynamic and innovative one with the total harmony with students-teachers relationship. The faculty members (though they are very few in numbers) playing a vital role in catering quality education to students, hailing from the nearby localities as well as from the remote village of the North 24 pgs. The faculty members even try their level best to provide quality Teaching both formally and informally. The students-teachers relationship is healthy, warm and familiar.

            The under Graduate (U.G.) course curriculum is completely regulated by the West Bengal State University (The affiliating University). We, the members of the faculty, strive to maintain quality assurance and the dynamic, innovative process of implementing curriculum. This efforts runs continuously and we hope the students of our department become a complete human being with knowledge an dynamic mentality.
