In this persistently metamorphosing world, education has positive implications and the highest solutions for the world’s most pressing problems. Since its inception in 1965,Sree Chaitanya Mahavidyalaya (formerly Sree Chaitanya College of Commerce)plays an unassailable role in spreading knowledge in the Habra-Ashoknagar area of the district of North 24 Parganas. The Governing Body and the college teachers are committed to imparting value-based quality education to its students to accomplish its vision and mission.

It is a matter of pride that the college was reaccredited with Grade B in the second cycle of NAAC visits in 2016. By virtue of its dedicated scholarly pursuits, a lot has been achieved in this short journey of fifty-seven years. But still, certain avenues need further exploration and together we will strive to take our college to anew empyrean height.
